About

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist practicing on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. I have expertise in the evaluation and treatment of addictions and trauma in adolescents and adults. I am trained in behavioral interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), biofeedback, and hypnosis, and have used these approaches to intervene with a variety of diagnoses, specifically, substance abuse disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

My approach focuses on meeting every individual where they are, and through a positive therapeutic relationship, help them meet their individualized needs and goals. I believe in tailoring treatment to each individual through self-exploration, self-awareness, and strength building. This can be done individually and/or through couples or family work.

In addition, I also conduct neuropsychological assessments to assess for Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), or for general diagnostic clarification. These assessments can be helpful in developing treatment recommendations, and to get a more comprehensive understanding of an individual's needs.
