I strive to provide affirmative spaces for clients and am honored to work with individuals whose identities related to culture, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, body size, and ability intersect with their experiences around mental health. My experience spans working with a wife variety of mental health challenges with clients of all ages, and my areas of expertise include working with trauma, eating disorders, body image issues, emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. In addition to providing therapy, I also currently serve as an Adjunctive Professor and Supervisor at Alliant International University. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I provide individual and group therapy. My approach to therapy incorporates relational psychodynamic, humanistic, and behavioral techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). My clients and colleagues have observed that I possess an authentic, calm demeanor and intuitive attunement towards clients, with a strong emphasis on collaborative insight development and change within therapy. Outside of work, I love spending time with my two rescue pups, catching beautiful San Diego sunsets, and drinking a good cup of coffee.
