About

Although fear, anger, shame, guilt, and sadness often prevent us from living each day to the fullest, each one of us is uniquely resilient. From a strengths-based approach, I work collaboratively with my patients to facilitate personal growth, healing, and the establishment of more meaningful and fulfilling interpersonal relationships. I utilize EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) as a primary intervention in the resolution of trauma in individual therapy.

In addition to individual therapy, I facilitate interpersonal process groups. We are all members of groups; from the time we are born, our attachment styles develop and set the blueprints for how we interact with the world and those we are in relationship with.

The group process allows for the inevitable repetition of relational patterns that have gotten in the way of being our most authentic selves. Group therapy allows for the recognition of these patterns and opportunities to relate in different ways. The self-awareness gained in weekly group therapy helps you navigate relationships in all aspects of life.
