About

My services include working with individual, couples, family counseling with adults, and adolescents. I am LGBTQ+ affirming. My training is in the areas of anxiety and depressive disorders, relationship issues, trauma issues, women’s issues (infertility and postpartum), and developmental transitions. I use a therapeutic approach that reflects eclectic influences derived from my training in cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and family systems. I view problems as generally being developmental in nature, and approach each person, couple, or family in a unique fashion.

As your counselor, I am here to support you in making meaning, creating comfort, and uncovering resources to help you be your best self. Taking an evidenced-based, client-centered, cognitive-behavioral (CBT) approach, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space where we can collaborate and work at your own pace to help you reach your goals.

Counseling allows you to process your feelings and often leads to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and relief from feelings of distress. To achieve the most benefit from counseling, you will have to be engaged in your therapy sessions.
