I take a basic trauma approach. Often early in life, circumstances overwhelm us. We can feel unseen and misunderstood or as if we have to perform in order to be loved and accepted. When these situations are chronic, we naturally develop automatic responses to try and solve the problem. These responses arise again and again in adulthood without our bidding, creating varying degrees of anxiety and depression which negatively impact our relationships, careers, and ambitions. The good news is the system wants to find a way to heal itself. That’s what brought you here. It is my goal to help you realize your innate perfection. In a non-judgmental environment, I help clients get unstuck. I employ EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, IFS, and mindfulness, to help clients find ways to live the life they want to live. There’s an expression that says “if the only tool you have is a hammer, everything will look like a nail”. I’m happy to say, I don’t carry a hammer and you’re not a nail. It is The Dalai Lama says, “within each of us is pure spontaneity waiting to be discovered”. We all have that potential but often get in our own way and become convinced that we ARE our limitations. It is my goal to help you create new wiring that helps you realize the life you want to live.
