Eating challenges, whether yours or your loved ones, can feel lonely, confusing, and shameful. And yet, for many, they can also feel stabilizing and familiar, or simply unavoidable. The relationships we keep with our food and body can be incredibly complex and influenced by a multitude of factors. After years of experience working with eating disorders at all levels of care, I understand those complexities and the sensitive nature of this type of work. I offer a collaborative space for those individuals and families who are ready to work towards a life where eating is intuitive, connective, and safe. I specialize in working with those with eating disorders/disordered eating, body dysmorphia, and the host of challenges that often accompany them. I have a unique specialty in working with ARFID, or highly selective/avoidant eating patterns. I also work with parents of picky eaters who want to help their child become a more confident, intuitive eater. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and am licensed in both VA and NC. I operate from a Health At Every Size approach. If you're looking for competent, compassionate care for the challenges facing you today, reach out. Investing in an improved relationship with yourself or helping your child to eat without conflict and anxiety is worth it!
