About

I am a Counseling Psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist with a special interest in helping artists, writers, actors, musicians and creative spirits of all types achieve their full potential. I am also interested in working with men around issues of fatherhood, masculinity, and relationships. I have completed specialized training working with college, medical, and professional students (UCLA and USC Health Science Campus), as well as veterans (Minneapolis and Milwaukee VA).

My practice integrates contemporary psychodynamic therapy with ACT, meaning I will work collaboratively with you to disclose sources of meaning in your life, while facilitating the development of new perspectives on your internal emotional worlds, in the service of pursuing increasingly clarified values.

Crossing the threshold of asking for help can be one of the most challenging steps. I encourage you to reach out for an initial consult, to see if we might illuminate your path forward together; "I have a key / so I open a door and walk in. / It is dark and I walk in. / It is darker and I walk in."
