“The shoe that fits one person pinches another; there is no recipe for living that suits all cases.”–Carl Jung. Just like shoes, and life itself, there is no “one size fits all” in therapy. Each person is unique, and that means taking into consideration all aspects of your life: mind, body, emotions, social networks, culture, and vocation. Some people come to therapy because they want to grow, others because of hardship and loss, unresolved trauma, or unhealthy behaviors. Whatever your reason, it is legitimate. In my 30+ years as a therapist, I've worked with people from diverse cultural, educational, spiritual / religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds, to break through stuck points, heal trauma & addictions, and find healthier ways to live. I counseled service members & their families for 3 years, and was an embedded counselor with the USMC for another 4 years. Therapy is a collaboration between client & therapist. It's my job to help you discover, uncover, or create that which will make your life most meaningful. I am a strong believer in people's ability to make change in themselves and their lives. I never promise that it will be easy, but it will be worthwhile! Please reach out for a free 15 minute call.
