I know counseling works because I have been through it. Take it from someone who has served 9 years in the army, as a medic, deployed twice, divorced, and was abusing substances because all of these events hindered my spirit. Is life easy? No but you can make it way easier. That's the trick and that's what I am here for. I may not know all the answers but I am willing to discover it with you. I may have solutions that are different due to my upbringing (being half Korean and white had many learning lessons growing up and life). To find the answers to instill proper actions for a better quality of life is the goal. That's my mission. Before I begin this answer, I would like to say please email me if I don't answer my phone. I appreciate every one of you. I have personal experience in PTSD, radical adjustments to life, and when life was falling apart. Sometimes, letting it all fall so you can rebuild your foundation is a necessary solution. As my grandfather said many times, "the most fragile thing in the whole universe is a man's ego." I know I am not here for me, I am here for you. I truly mean that I have the most amazing job in the world because this allows me to care for people again. My personal quote though is the only time you look down on someone is to pick them up.
