Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I strongly believe in the healing power of a safe therapeutic space and human connection to build resilience and foster a more fulfilling life. I bring presence, compassion, humor, and a deep respect for the inner wisdom of each client. I offer a warm and insight-focused approach to support individuals and couples along the path of exploration, reflection, and healing. I work with clients who are in a moment of transition and would like to move forward authentically; individuals and couples who are navigating the perinatal or postpartum period; and individuals experiencing grief and loss. I show up with curiosity in order to, collaboratively, shine light on old, perhaps unconscious, patterns that might be making you feel stuck or creating inter- and inner- personal strain. Our work may involve process-oriented, emotionally-focused talk therapy as well as body-oriented mindfulness in order to deepen connection and understanding to self. We all have ways we have learned to cope with challenges and navigate ups and downs. But oftentimes, life's hardships or traumatic experiences from the past can become too overwhelming to hold on our own. Reaching out for help is hard. It takes strength and self-love to get to this point where you are seeking additional support. I am so glad you are here.
