About

I have experience working in private group practices, hospitals, and a community mental health clinic. Along the way in my clinical career, I honed a specialty for working with young adults of all backgrounds, particularly those struggling with finding their place in the world or appreciating themselves more. Identity, purpose, and meaning are pillars of existence that I believe all people deserve to solidify and manifest in positive ways. Many young people struggle from internal or external factors that confuse or weigh down their endeavor to find their happy life.

I practice therapy using an integrated approach, pulling from cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic, experiential, existential, and gestalt techniques. I believe that the diversity and variety of human experience calls for cooperation between the therapist and client to tailor techniques and interventions that suit their needs and unique experiences.

One of the most challenging things affecting us all is the uncertainty of life. Many folks struggle with this uncertainty and how to respond to it in a way that works for each of them. In treatment, I believe in working together to recognize the potential of your adaptability in order to foster more flexible thinking and positive self-image.
