The first time looking through Psychology Today profiles can be overwhelming. It can still be overwhelming even if you’ve done it many times. You may already be feeling so stuck, so low, so unmotivated and maybe even be asking yourself the question, “what’s wrong with me?” If that’s the case, going through these profiles with so many words can feel like a lot. There is no shame in feeling that way and you are certainly not alone. My hope for you and everyone looking for help is that you can find a space where you feel safe and connected to work on why you are struggling.
For the work I do with my clients my intention is to lead with compassion, empathy, and curiosity. I like to spend time getting to know my clients and their specific struggles. I want you to feel understood and safe in our therapeutic work. I enjoy incorporating clients' faith into therapy, but only do so at the request of the client.
If anything you’ve read here stands out to you or you have further questions, please feel free to reach out to me. A time can be set up to talk and I can answer questions you may have. You are worth finding a therapist you like and that you feel safe with. That is my hope for you.
