Being a child or teen right now is hard, with a lot of pressure and emotions dealing with school, friendships, social media, family, and their future. Supporting and helping our children navigate all of these factors, along with the new things that seem to pop up every day is stressful. In my opinion everyone can use therapy to learn skills to manage our emotions. My aim is to create a safe place for children to open up and learn tools to better manage their emotions and behaviors, and improve self-esteem. I strive to always provide a warm space, where you and your child feel safe to be vulnerable and work towards your goals. I specialize in working with anxiety that may be due to a variety of reasons. I also treat OCD, mild depression, difficulties adjusting to life changes or mild traumas, behavioral problems, poor self-esteem, and learning difficulties. I also enjoy working with child athletes, as I grew up playing sports and know how significant it can in their lives. Providing services by video allows more flexibility for when you can receive care. If you are wondering if this will work for your child, let's chat about it! I may consider meeting in person in the future so let me know if you'd like me to add you my list. I also offer a free 15 min. consultation to explore if working together would be a good fit!
