Hi, I am Ashley, a licensed professional counselor that is ready to help you with what you find difficult to manage in your life. I have a wealth of experience working with adults with mental health needs such as anxiety, bipolar, depression, schizophrenia, substance abuse and couple's therapy. I have experience working with women with mood disorders; I have received certification in perinatal and postpartum mood disorders. I like to incorporate motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy in the sessions. I do understand one shoe does not fit all therefore I individualize treatment.
During counseling sessions what is most helpful is when the client is actively involved in the therapeutic process. This works very well with clients that are working toward their own personal therapeutic goals. I have over a decade of clinical experience. I have received numerous evidence-base trainings and utilize the methods in therapy sessions.
In order to start your journey and get to a better place, you can contact me to schedule your first appointment. Currently, I am offering telehealth session with the option to meet in person. For in office sessions, the office is located in Aldie, VA.
