I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who is a Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT) and also trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I graduated with honors from Emory & Henry College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and contextual support in Biology and Chemistry. I attended graduate school at August State University, now known as Georgia Regent University, and graduated with a Master of Science with honors in Clinical Psychology/Counseling. I has been working in the mental health field since 2008 and have taken on many roles, which include Therapeutic Mentor. I utilize evidence-based approaches within my therapy practices and focus on building rapport and therapeutic alliance between counselor and individuals. I have been been approved by the board to provide Clinical Supervision to Residents in Counseling since 2017. In my free time, and to provide self-care, I enjoys spending time with my five kids and husband. Together, we enjoy traveling and seeking new adventures, even if it is just in their backyard. I enjoys hiking, living in the mountains, and being in awe of God’s many and beautiful creations.
