Working on the frontlines often involves exposure to unique stressors and traumatic events that can affect all aspects of life from emotion/impulse control, experiences of anger, relationships, self-esteem, loss of confidence in abilities, attention and concentration to sleep, physical health, behavior and other daily patterns. Healing the deep wounds of trauma and moral injury requires safety and trust. I believe the therapeutic relationship is foundational to meaningful wellness and growth. I am here to support and empower you in reconnecting with yourself and others in healthy and skillful ways. I specialize in treating traumatic stress and in suicide prevention. I work with active-duty military, veteran, first responder and medical communities. I have clinical experience with US Navy/Marine Corps service members, healthcare workers, law enforcement, fire service, EMS, juvenile justice staff/youth, and survivors of child sexual exploitation. I uphold a commitment to social justice and my work is informed by my experiences in interdisiciplinary community mental health and healthcare settings. I believe all individuals deserve access to quality healthcare, and I am glad to offer options of a sliding fee, pay what you’re able and in-home sessions, if needed.
