About

I specialize in work with adolescents and adults struggling with a variety of issues including relationships, parenting, grief/bereavement, life transition, chronic illness, depression/anxiety, crisis management and trauma. I have over 20 years of experience supporting the social and mental health needs of individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings including: emergency/inpatient/outpatient hospital, private practice, non-profit and school.

Colleagues and clients would describe me as warm, engaging, empathetic, non-judgemental and supportive. I have experienced success in connecting and working with clients who are hesitant about and/or resistant to therapy. I meet each person where they are and help them discover their path to becoming the most fulfilled versions of themselves.

Clients who choose to work with me can expect to leave sessions feeling understood and supported. I challenge clients when needed, but in a manner that feels positive and encouraging. My primary goal is to assist clients in establishing that they are not alone and gently nudge them in a direction that leads to positive growth.
