About

Hi, my name is Ash and I'm glad you found me! One of my core beliefs as a therapist is that when all facets of our identities are fully welcomed into the counseling space - transformation, healing, and growth transpires. Ideally, therapy provides opportunities to explore and make meaning of our identities, relationships, and life experiences to gain insight and understanding into ourselves and our connections with others. My counseling approach is liberatory, anti-racist, trauma-responsive, and queer, trans, and sex worker affirming! My ideal clients share these values and want a therapist who truly cares for them.

My goal is to help you experience genuine catharsis and relief, cultivate resilience for the long haul, and respond to life's challenges in ways that serve you well and align with your values. Whether you are experiencing new or recurring concerns, I am here to help. I have 13+ years of experience working in the mental health field with youth and adults.

I know therapy is a vulnerable process that requires trust and safety, and it's ok if it takes you some time to get there. I am patient, nonjudgmental, engaging, conversational, and relational in my approach and will prioritize creating a safe enough space for you to experience the benefits of therapy.
