Therapists » Marriage & Family Therapist Associate
Many people start therapy when they are struggling with feelings of loneliness, frustration, anxiety, or disconnection from their partner. Others come because they are feeling frustrated that no matter how hard they try to change, they keep repeating the same patterns. Therapy is an interactive process where we address current problems and examine underlying causes. I provide a space to explore new ways of relating and help you gain insight and self-knowledge. With time, I see clients make lasting changes in their lives and heal from interpersonal wounds. I work with individuals, couples, children and families, helping to improve relationships by reducing blame and guilt, improving communication, and providing insight so people can better meet each other' and their own needs. I have a psychodynamic background and draw from trauma-informed modalities including IFS, mindfulness, somatic interventions. More important than the therapy modality, I believe that a trusting relationship with a therapist is key to healing. Before becoming a therapist, I spent a decade working in tech. I have life experience that allows me to understand the stressors of balancing a work and personal life. Feel free to reach out to see if we might be a good fit.
