About

I believe that change is a process and with therapy, that process can be a smooth one. I focus on the positive and my belief is that everyone has an innate desire to improve themselves. My goal for therapy is to serve as a "mirror," in order to help people understand themselves more and to improve all relationships in their lives. I have 11 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples to help them achieve success and to move forward.

I use an eclectic approach to treat a multitude of issues, including child/adolescent emotional and/or behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, parenting, personality disorders, trauma, self-harm and boundaries. I work closely with family and couples to improve their communication and overall functioning.

I facilitate DBT Skills Training group, for adults and adolescents, to teach emotion regulation skills, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness and overall mindfulness. I also facilitate a Relationships and Boundaries Group to address healthy/unhealthy boundaries and to assert needs within a relationship, in an effective manner.
