***Not currently accepting new clients.***My goal in therapy is to provide a collaborative, compassionate, nonjudgmental space for you to find healing and create meaning. I believe therapy isn’t only a place to utilize when in a state of crisis but for continuous self-care, learning how to change maladaptive behaviors, improve self-worth and increase overall wellbeing. My hope is that I can help you create a space where you can be honest, open and authentic while engaging in a supportive and caring relationship. My approach to counseling is overall systemic, narrative, structural and integrative. I’m direct, engaging, and am particularly skilled at working with clients dealing with LGBTQIA issues, addiction, trauma and PTSD, and mood disorders. I also work with families and couples. I have a history of working in substance abuse/dual diagnosis treatment centers at the Residential, PHP, IOP and OP levels of care. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective trauma therapy for persons dealing with singular or long-term complex traumas.
