I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Washington, DC, and Virginia. Currently, I see clients via telehealth. I received my Master's Degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and hold a Bachelor of the Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Tennessee. I have received advanced training in Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and Sensorimotor Psychology. Areas of interest are working through life transitions, relationship issues, work/life balance, and trauma. My goal is to provide a warm and inviting space so you can come as you are and feel safe as we work together. As a small business owner, for over two decades, I understand the dichotomy of striving for success while trying to maintain a healthy work/life balance. I have a deep understanding of the difficulties of change, and mid-life transitions, and know that every person's journey to self-discovery and healing is unique. Healing is different for every individual. My work is eclectic, combining psychotherapy, mindfulness, and somatics, along with a deep curiosity that meets you where you are in your journey with empathy, optimism, and motivation. I believe in working from a place of compassion and helping you to gain more freedom in your life to achieve your goals.
