About

Seeking support and guidance may seem like a daunting task that requires more strength and courage than you believe you have. The good news is that you have already taken the first step by opening this website to begin your search. You’ve started to honor the self care that we all need and deserve. My vision as a counselor is to offer an arena that promotes a safe, honest, and empathic therapeutic relationship as, together, we explore past experiences that are impacting the here and now. This can lead to new ways of approaching challenges and perceiving the world around you while focusing on your goals and hope for the future.

As I sit with clients, it is critical to be attuned to your feelings and thoughts that drive behaviors, habitual patterns of responding and reacting to challenges, and focus on unique strengths of each individual. I am interested in working with adults, 18 yrs and up with a special interest in college students, young parents, and pre/postpartum challenges.

After many years as an elementary school music teacher and four years as a home based clinician, I am eager to utilize my experience with children and families as a part of the therapeutic process. It is my privilege to witness growth and change, and to be trusted with holding your personal story as we work together toward healing and wholeness.
