About

I believe that most emotional pain comes both from difficult life circumstances and how we perceive those events. I work in an open, warm, and empathically challenging way to help people better explore, understand and wrestle with the issues that are keeping them from finding more peace, joy, freedom and fulfillment.

I work from a psychodynamic framework, but use eclectic interventions and am guided by my client's unique needs. I have had success treating individuals struggling with issues related to interpersonal difficulties, identity development, creativity, trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief.

I have studied and worked with people who have experienced early losses and traumas (particularly early parental death) in great depth. I have also had considerable experience with people who are struggling with issues around identity, anxiety, relationships, fertility and early adult development.
