I believe in the power of empathy, warmth, and acceptance. I work with my clients to help find their unique strengths and voice. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders including anorexia nervosa, bulimia, and binge eating, as well as orthorexia, and ARFID. I also have experience treating anxiety, depression, self-harm, self-esteem, body dysmorphia, relationship concerns, and adjustment disorders which so often co-exist with eating disorders. My goal is to use a multi-dimensional approach using evidence-based practices while ensuring that you can share your story and experiences in a safe space. I strive to provide client centered care that highlights your strengths with compassion and understanding. I primarily work with individuals from pre-teens to adults, but I also provide consultations to family members, and coordinate care with other health care professionals including primary care physicians, dieticians, and other support team members. In the counseling process, I use evidence-based, holistic treatment and prioritize the therapeutic relationship by creating a safe place where my clients feel heard. I get to know each client and tailor the counseling experience to your individual needs. Together we work towards finding self-compassion, confidence, and your authentic self.
