About

New openings for couples as of Nov. 10th. You may be considering couples/marriage counseling after much pain and distress in your relationship. Perhaps fighting, feeling alone, in a transactional relationship or like you lost your best friend. It can be scary to look at your partner and not remember feeling close, yet longing for that very closeness. In our work together I primarily draw on Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).  EFT is all about easing the escalation of the same conflicts and creating (or sometimes re-creating) new positive patterns and a safe bond with your beloved. Learning to connect again.

In our work we look at all of our relationships, both to others and ourselves as well as to the "things" in our lives like work, substances and even screens. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and people of all genders and identities!

It's important you feel that your therapist is a "good fit" as the therapeutic relationship depends on feeling safe. I offer a free 15-20 minute consult so we can meet each other. Spanish is my second language & I offer sessions for Spanish speakers. I also have experience working with bi-cultural and multi-cultural individuals and couples.
