I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health an EMDR specializing in perinatal mental health. I utilize EMDR therapy to support individuals in healing from birth and reproductive trauma, miscarriage and pregnancy loss, unplanned cesarean birth, homebirth to hospital transfer, birth story processing and healing perinatal mood disorders. I also support individuals with perinatal grief and loss, VBAC preparation, and those who are trying to conceive or who are currently pregnant in preparation for birth and with self-advocacy in birthing spaces. Counseling can be a powerful process of coming together in relationship to heal. I believe it is each individual's right to be a central participant in the care they receive. Within the counseling process I offer a grounding presence as a foundation for clients to slow down, take space and lean into vulnerability while confronting distress. We all need spaces to feel safe and supported while exploring and processing life experiences. My approach to counseling is compassionate and non-judgmental. I understand making the choice to engage in counseling is not always easy and would feel honored to walk with you on your sacred path to healing.
