About

We all get stuck & that's simply part of being imperfectly human. There are times in life when we need someone to walk beside us as we navigate new paths into healthier relationships. Relationships with ourselves and others. Intentionally cultivating new patterns of interaction and deconstruction patterns that no longer serve us. I act as a choreographer of conversations, aimed to explore emotional connections & attachment injuries and impasses. As humans, we have a biological need to feel seen to be safe, secure & connected in our relationships. I work collaboratively with clients creating safety, change & a new path forward. View 8 Photos

Emotionally Focused Therapy & Attachment Theory are the lenses through which I therapeutically navigate challenges. In my work I also use Experiential Therapy Techniques, DBT, Mindfulness and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy skills. I have significant experience working with couples, families, middle school students & also in Emotional Estate Planning.

Who I am as a therapist has been a journey fueled with passion and purpose. I am a member of AAMFT, WAMFT, and ICEEFT. I have 10 years of experience working with Couples, Families, Infidelity Issues, Step-Families, Terminal Illnesses, and Grief. I have also worked as a Middle School Teacher and as a Middle School Counselor.
