About

I work with clients virtually, in nature, or in person. I prefer to work with a client who will come to sessions even when it is challenging. I allow the therapy relationship to open up space for safe exploration of the realities of life, ways to cope with reality and improve spiritual and mental strength. Therefore, my client would demonstrate commitment to the therapy relationship, whether for brief therapy or long-term work, by doing the work necessary to understand the self and make necessary life decisions to maximize the availability of life energy.

I can work with clients from a spiritual foundation and collaborate with them to find internal and external solutions and resources to issues. Also I support clients who might be suffering from attachment problems, abuse, boundary, & self-worth issues and their impact on developing trusting relationships with God, self, and others.

As a Christian, middle-aged, African American woman, I bring my life experience of survival, trauma, and victory to the sessions with clients with compassion and honor for their own life experience while gently opening up space for self-reflection and healing. In my life and practice, vulnerability is an asset and not a liability.
