Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Hello, my name is Angela Reinhold, LCSW. I have spent nearly 10 years assessing individual and psychosocial needs of patients from youth to adults. The therapeutic approaches I lean towards consist of psychodynamic, CBT, DBT, client-centered therapy, and supportive therapy. I spent 7 years working with children, pre-teens, and teenagers, and the last 10 years working with adults. Conditions I feel most comfortable treating consist of clients struggling with depression, anxiety, self-regulation (mood), sexuality, and substance use. When clients work with me, I set the tone for them to feel heard, supported, and accepted for where they are in their therapeutic process. I have always had a very nurturing demeanor with a strong desire to help others. It is this desire that attracted me to help people become the best selves they can be. I believe the most important element in the therapeutic process is developing a strong rapport. Receiving therapy puts a person in a very vulnerable state; establishing a strong rapport helps ease worries and fears so the patient can feel comfortable during this vulnerable process.
