Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
I look forward to exploring your concerns, fears and needs in a supportive therapeutic environment. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families addressing substance abuse, relationship, mood issues ( depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc). I often work with family members who have trouble motivating a loved one to consider treatment, or who want to learn about their loved one's condition and how to best support them. I value maintaining relationships with other providers, including psychiatrists, other therapists such as group therapists, couple therapists, inpatient treatment facilities, etc. as part of maintaining good coordination of your care as necessary. Educated and trained at the University of Pennsylvania, I specialized in treating substance abuse issues using a variety of evidence based therapeutic approaches (CBT for substance abuse, motivational interviewing, etc). I enjoy working with the medical model of addiction treatment and focusing on educating family and loved ones to be supportive of your journey. Treating mental health concerns, regaining a sense of meaning and purpose along with improving relationships are held in close focus. I value closely tailoring treatment to your needs, and being available via text, calls/video calls or in person sessions. Evening and weekend hours are available, to make taking care of yourself convenient and accessible.
