About

If you are anxious, depressed or struggling with a difficult situation, therapy gives you tools to reduce your distress and function more effectively. It provides you with an opportunity to look at behaviors, relationship dynamics and environmental factors which you can change to reach your goals. Therapy will also help you identify strategies to come to terms with the difficult elements in your life which cannot be changed.Psychotherapy is particularly helpful in managing relationships and adjusting to life's challenges associated with parenting, aging, illness and loss, including the death of loved ones.

I have over thirty years clinical experience in diagnosing and treating mental and emotional difficulties. My therapeutic style is active and collaborative. I combine specific techniques with the process of identifying and working on problematic behavioral patterns. I believe that therapy should address immediate concerns, enhance understanding and build resilience.

I have worked in a variety of international settings and am comfortable with people from various backgrounds. I have learned to appreciate the importance of working with people from their own cultural perspective. I welcome clients of any nationality.
