About

I approach therapy holistically, influenced by a career in which I found myself continuously expanding my knowledge and skills to better support my clients' health and well-being goals. I started in athletics and fitness before branching into dietetics, noting its importance as well. Still, my knowledge felt incomplete as I observed how people's relationship with food and their bodies was deeply affected by their emotional state of mind, their experiences, their relationships, and their perspective on what it means to be human. Incorporating psychology enabled me to fully integrate the interplay between the mind and body in therapy.

I work with individuals and families on many concerns, not just those limited to nutrition and athletics. My role is to create a safe space for exploration, supported with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. Mutual trust, an accepting presence, and insightful dialogue in the unique therapeutic relationship can help navigate personal challenges.

Therapy is most meaningful when there is a comfortable fit between the client and the therapist. If you are interested or just curious, I encourage you to call so that we can see if we will be a match. I look forward to hearing from you.
