Amy is a Psychotherapist who is passionate about empowering clients to pursue lives of meaning, connection, and joy. Her approach to therapy is relational, drawing primarily from psychodynamic and behavioral models. She is committed to anti-oppressive practice and believes in challenging all forms of systemic injustice. She also enjoys working with clients with ADHD, clients in the LGBTQ+ community, and those experiencing relationship issues. Amy strives to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, understood, and valued. Amy holds a Master of Arts in Social Work from the University of Chicago, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Macalester College. Prior to joining LifePath, Amy taught ESL to adult immigrants and refugees, and worked as a case management intern at a residential shelter for unaccompanied minors.
