Hi! I'm Dr. Amy Horrex, Board Certified Clinical Psychologist. I provide virtual psychotherapy, coaching and consulting services. I would be honored to get to know you and understand what your mental health and personal development goals are. Building a healthy therapeutic relationship is a crucial part of the therapy, healing and development process. I strive to facilitate a warm, honest, and helpful approach where goals are explored and set, accountability is maintained, and skills are learned to manage situations as they arise. I have been trained in multiple evidence based and supported treatments including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Adlerian/Individual Psychology techniques, Prolonged Exposure (PE), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Advanced Safety Planning Intervention (ASPI).
