Approaching therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you have experienced life through unsafe environments and relationships. Therapy is a courageous step and I am passionate about creating a safe, open, compassionate, and understanding environment for you. Mental illness does not discriminate and it can feel incredibly difficult to navigate. I specialize in working with individuals who are impacted by complex trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic pain/stress, substance abuse, personality disorders, and suicidal thinking/behavior or self-destructive behaviors. I approach therapy with a person-centered, compassion focused, and attachment based approach. Early attachment experiences shape the way we see the world and develop relationships. Exploring early life experiences, building a secure, supportive therapeutic relationship, and strengthening coping skills are important elements within my therapeutic process. I strongly believe that genuine and authentic connections facilitate change. Life is complex and challenging, so providing a safe space is key. Working collaboratively and at a pace that works for you is most important to me. I am looking forward to get to know you and walk beside you as you journey through life.
