About

Would it surprise you to know that nearly every client I have ever worked with has asked me the same question? It's true. "Am I crazy?" I tell them all the same thing: "No. Crazy is a feeling--not a diagnosis. You can feel crazy, act crazy, look crazy, do something crazy--but you cannot BE crazy. Maybe you have been wondering if you are crazy? Or if perhaps you are "losing your mind"? I would like to be the therapist who gets to know you, and helps reassure you that you are not crazy or losing your mind, and to help you feel better in general.

When you look at the big picture, all behavior and feelings make sense in their context--in other words, what is going on around the behavior and feelings before, during, and after they take place. When you understand how behavior and feelings make sense, it is possible for you to change your choices, feelings, behaviors, and life.

I believe people are born into this world with everything they need to be their best self. You are whole. You have all the parts, wisdom, and abilities you need to achieve your goals. It is all there inside you. I use a narrative, strengths-based conversational style. My goal is for you to conclude your session feeling like you talked with a wise friend.
