Counseling has the potential to be both frightening and exhilarating. Stating your dreams and working toward goals is a way to ensure that your personal growth is in the direction you hope for. I use visual aids and unique illustrations of topics discussed, so if you fear that you may have trouble talking at first, don't worry; it will be easier than you think! My background is in special education. I became a counselor because I saw a need for providing emotional resources for families. Now I work with families, children, and individuals to meet life goals, gain motivation, and get clarity on issues faced. I do this through identifying strengths and personal beliefs. I have knowledge in holistic supports, besides medication, that can help strengthen individuals emotionally and physically to better face life's challenges.
