Amberlyn Joy Keller is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with six years of experience. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from York College, a Master of Arts in Applied Research Psychology from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin, a second Master of Arts degree in School Counseling from the University of St. Thomas and completed License Professional Counselor classes through Lamar University. Amberlyn believes in focusing on client centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and has a realist approach to counseling. She feels each meeting with a client is a conversation that serves a purpose where the client can talk things out, think things through and grow. She looks forward to working with others and hopes to provide a service of counseling that can make a person feel better, hopeful, and for them to be able to apply new perspective to their daily life situations. In her free time, Amberlyn enjoys swimming, biking, running, lifting weights, and doing boxing classes that are training on a heavy weight bag. She works out regularly and has trained for Ironman events before.
