Starting therapy can be seen as a difficult thing to initiate, at least that was my experience when I first started therapy and it is for many other people too. If you're someone that is ready to gain better foundational knowledge of self and others; or wanting to work through past events that are now lingering for far too long with your present day self; or wanting to gain skills to better manage the stress that comes with the unknown of tomorrow, the first step is to set up a consultation. There is no harm in simply making a phone call or sending an email to see which therapist best fits your needs. I have experience helping parents gain skills in fostering the parent child relationship, working on a crisis respite team, the foster care system, and in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. I enjoy this field simply because I have a heart for the population I serve. I have been trained in AF- EMDR through the Parnell Institute and TF-CBT. My mission in life is to make an impact and to plant mustard seeds of light, hope, faith, and love. I believe that each encounter we have, provides opportunities for growth; along with acknowledgement, acceptance and application- healing can begin to take over. The only way to know is by giving therapy a shot, so let’s chat!
