Sometimes after a traumatic event or significant life change, we are left feeling powerless, uncertain of who we are or our role in life, and hopeless about how we can move forward. Maybe we have low self-esteem or even have thought about harm or death. At Empowered Living Counseling, I often see clients who have experienced trauma, are searching for their identity, and are working to take back control of their lives. I take a collaborative and non-judgmental approach to support clients in finding meaning and empowerment, safety and healing from their traumatic experiences, and figuring out who they are and what they want in life. View 6 Photos To support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals, I use a framework that takes into account and validates each client's unique family and life experiences that make up who they are today. My understanding of my clients is informed by my training and background in trauma and abuse, as well as my experience working with clients from all walks of life. Making that first step toward therapy can come with all kinds of feelings and questions. My goal is to support you in that process, so I gladly offer free 15-minute consultations to discuss questions and concerns you may have about the process, my practice, and your therapy journey. Please don't hesitate to call, text, or email to begin that journey today.
