About

Families come to me because their child or adolescent is struggling, and often times they don’t know where to begin to make things better. I work with children, teens, their parents, and young adults (up to age 25). I initially focus on learning about a person's challenges and strengths. Then, together we develop a plan for gaining mastery over difficulties, achieving goals, and ultimately reaching a child, teen, or early adult's potential. Often challenges feel overwhelming when first seeking help, but most families find initial sessions to clarify goals while also setting the stage for long-sought change.

My therapeutic style helps children, adolescents, and young adults learn to identify new ways of approaching challenging situations, thoughts, and feelings to develop an overall sense of well-being.

I believe in the process of personal change and take great joy in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they reach towards becoming their best selves. I look forward to working with your family and feel truly fortunate for the opportunity to participate in you and your child's growth.
