Are you tired of seeing your child struggle with expressing their emotions, which often leads to big drawn-out tantrums or becoming aggressive to you or others? Do you feel helpless trying to support your child as they isolate themselves or withdraw in social situations? Are you feeling exhausted after countless battles of helping your child navigate school and home rules and expectations? What if there was a place to help your child facilitate communication, foster emotional wellness, increase personal strengths, and enhance their social relationships? A place for your child to learn the tools on how to regulate themselves. Amanda Serio is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S) who has 8 years of experience working with children 3+ who experience anxiety, have endured trauma, and have big behaviors as a result of big emotions. Amanda uses play therapy to help children learn tools to best process their inner worlds. Being a parent is the most difficult and rewarding job. You know your child best and it is okay to not know how to solve or fix every problem they have. Sometimes you need additional help and support. We all experience times in our lives when we need another person to help calm us down. Amanda is that person to help you and your child learn how to be calm.
