The journey of 1000 miles begins with a single step. Finding a therapist just might be that first step. I am a clinical psychologist who can help with issues including anger, trauma, depression, anxiety, sleep, adjustment and relationship issues. In order to help you, I need to understand your strengths and weaknesses and you have to get to know me as well, because without trust, you're not likely to make much progress. If you are ready to start the journey of healing, I would be honored to travel with you. One thing to know about me at the start is that I am a Veteran of the United States Army. I incorporate evidence-based treatment approaches, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). I also am experienced in treating trauma through the use of cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and written exposure therapy. I became a psychologist to help others navigate the curves, hills, and valleys on the journey of life. Let's face it, we all get stuck sometimes! That's when a therapist can help, by taking a look at the road map and suggesting new, unfamiliar, or hidden-from-view routes to help you continue moving forward.
