Therapists » Associate Professional Counselor
Hi, I'm Amanda and as a counselor I am passionate about exploring the past to understand how it is impacting the present and informing the future. I enjoy working with people to develop the necessary skills to handle day to day stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and more. I see clients that are 13 years old and up. One thing that I find in common with most of my clients is the desire to be heard, seen, and appreciated. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable to come as you are so that you may learn, heal, and grow into the person you want to be. I have experience working with individuals and groups of all ages. I have worked with a variety of difficulties including depression, anxiety, grief/loss, relationship issues, Autism/ADHD, life transitions/stressors, trauma and PTSD, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. I aim to work from an integrative lens to cater treatment to my clients needs. I view therapy as collaborative effort toward healing. I know that beginning therapy can be hard and terrifying, that is why I attempt to create a safe and welcoming space for my clients. I believe that everything we do makes sense within the context of our stories and I would be honored to offer a space for you to tell yours.
