About

I hold to the belief that all people have the potential to achieve healing and growth. As a practitioner, I take a supportive role as clients determine and strive towards their mental and emotional health goals. I believe my empathy and my non-judgmental, conversational style help form productive therapeutic relationships. In this safe place, difficult issues can be explored. I’m comfortable supporting people from varied age, sexual orientation and genders as well as diverse ethic and cultural backgrounds. I feel passionate about supporting people from groups that have been marginalized in Western society. My pronouns are She/Her View 5 Photos

While the style of therapy I practice draws on multiple theories, my foundation is Humanistic and Existential. I also use a Jungian-based technique especially for career-development, relationship building and exploring life purpose. Mindfulness and Somatic techniques can also be an asset to help people cope with symptoms.

With roots in bereavement counseling, I have a solid foundation to support those coping with profound grief, loss, depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, family conflict, aging, identity, spiritual exploration. I am also trained to support change of unhelpful behavior patterns. I’d be happy to talk and figure out if I’d be a good match for your needs
