I find it important to provide you with psychoeducation, giving you the tools and empowerment to make sense of your own experiences. You can also expect me to help you build emotional and somatic awareness. I believe we must identify and name our emotions in order to respond in the most helpful way. I take a person-centered approach, meeting you where you’re at. Additionally, I draw from theories such as psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
