My name is Alondra and I am a Temporary Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from Utah Valley University and received a M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mount Mercy University. I am committed to embracing all individuals, with all experiences and perspectives, as they engage in healing through connection with self and others. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families and utilize an Emotion-Focused and Experiential approach. At my core, I value the importance of my clients living a full life and focus on human connection being the means to accomplish just that. With empathy at the forefront, I will be receiving clients both as they are and with a mind set on their potential as I offer challenges to promote growth and concentrate on empowering clients. I am dedicated to working collaboratively with clients and I am excited to see what life can look like for my clients as they reach their goals. As a Mexican American woman myself, I am eager to support marginalized individuals and offer therapy also in the Spanish language. My special interests include experiences such as immigration, spirituality and religion, self-identity and self-discovery, life and work stressors and life transitions. Please send me a message & reach out!
