I began my career working with children ages 7-16 in Behavioral Modification Therapy. After two years, I began working with teenage boys coming out of Foster Care. My work included Behavioral Modification with an added component of both group and individual therapy. I took on the additional responsibility of training staff in Behavioral Modification, Boundaries Adherence and Self Awareness techniques. I have also supervised and coached individuals on how to have difficult conversations, counsel others, parenting skills and substance abuse. Additionally, I have experience assisting troubled families in conflict work through their challenges. I specializes in behavioral modification for children ages 3-16 as well as counseling children ages 8-17 through young adulthood. My areas of expertise include behavioral issues, childhood trauma, insecure attachments, familial issues, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. Therapy can be a difficult step, and even more difficult to find a therapist you connect with. I work to develop a therapeutic relationship in which realizations can occur and positive changes can be made. My intention is always to help enhance the client's current level of functioning and overall condition.
