I love working with individuals who are interested in processing emotions and healing from the past to find freedom and authenticity now. I work primarily from a person-centered and anti-oppressive framework. This means I focus on active listening, compassion, and genuine regard for you as we collaborate in processing and creating meaning from your emotions, experiences, and thoughts. I believe we cannot not ignore the impact of systemic and structural systems of inequality in race, class, gender, sexuality, and ability on our mental health and welcome conversation regarding your experiences surrounding these issues. I welcome all people to my practice and have experience working many mental health concerns. I have specified interest and training in perinatal and reproductive mental health. I enjoy working with those leaving high control religion and healing from religious trauma and healing from purity culture. Life is challenging. We all have experienced pain and struggle. Therapy is an opportunity for healing, growth, and exploration. I welcome you into shared humanity and honesty.
